Job Title: Generalist Music Researcher
Must Have’s:

• Music Industry background, this could look like many different things for example a DJ, a performer, radio experience, creative arts, sound engineering, etc. A degree in any of these areas is preferred but not needed.
• Experience working in an office setting in a business environment.
• This will be a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm position so business etiquette is a must.
• Must be able to work onsite 100% of the time in Austin, TX
• Day to Day Responsibilities: Video Tagging

• Strong analytical & research skills: Ability to research music artist data and optimize your approach to evaluating large sets of music data. Working knowledge and understanding of music industry, including relevant record labels, eras and genre distinctions past and present: An understanding of the various genres: Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock & Metal, Electronic/EDM, Alternative etc.
• Needs strong Excel/Google sheets skills
• Demonstrates strong music knowledge
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving and general troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to connect with others easily
• Extreme attention to detail.
