Role: Benchling SME
Term: Contract
Location: Boston, MA
Looking for a Benchling SME to act as subject matter expert in Benchling platform with knowledge or experience in implementations and can manage, drive, and deliver the Benchling Implementation project in the client organization. Lead all aspects of the customer rollouts from requirements analysis, solution design to configurations, testing, training, and onboarding users onto the system, work hand in hand with the research scientists at our customers.
 
  1. Primary Skill Set: ELN/LIMS Knowledge with expertise in Cell and Gene therapy and        
  2. knowledge in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or similar life science field
  3. Experience in Benchling / Benchling API + / Java/Python Computational Biology, Protein Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Statistical Data Analysis
     
  • Have >7 years of experience in Life Science industry and understand customers' scientific         workflows
  • Should be able to determine how Benchling applications can best be leveraged to meet their key business needs.
  • Experienced in configuring Benchling templates and should be aware of all the modules in Benchling application that includes Insights & Lab Automation.
  • Laser-focused and strong delivery experience managing large, complex projects.
  • Must think ahead strategically and must be able to weigh and decide between implementing new functionality by configuration of existing technology vs assessment of new technology.
  • Build and execute detailed project plans, own project activities, work with other team members to execute on project deliverables to ensure on time, on budget, high quality deployments
  • Has a strong working understanding of installed systems, is aware of integration and data flow points with other enterprise systems.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with one or more technology environments, with the ability to learn and apply new and emerging concepts very quickly.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skills
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical foundation
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems and evaluate solutions
  • Ability to translate complex technical issues into business terms.
  • Good understanding of GxP compliance and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements
  • Have knowledge and work experience with of Incident, Change and Problem Management, ITIL process & CSV Validation.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
