SAP Performance Lead
Position Description:
 
Work with the projects to create detailed performance test plans.
•   Work with the Test Tools Engineer to ensure proper tooling and tool issue resolution.
•   Translate performance specifications into effective test designs and test cases.
•   Conduct risks analysis relative to the key areas performance risk in developing performance tests.
•   Participate in upfront application and technology requirements, design and functionality reviews when required to drive the quantitative definition of performance requirements.
•   Participate in reviews of Performance Test Plans, Partitioning, and Test Designs and Test automation code.
•   Install, support, understand, and use the Performance Test Tools effectively.
•   Design/customize and implement the technical infrastructure for performance tests automation for each project.
•   Define and implement test (verification and validation) practices, standards, and processes as they apply to performance testing.
•   Collaborate with other Test Designers, Test Automators, Test Managers, Test Executors and Test Architects to automate performance tests for specified application areas.
•   Assist in defining and implementing performance test requirements and standards. Maintain the performance test automation environment.
•   Partner with project teams to ensure that the performance test approach is understood.
•   Build relationships with project teams, mentor and coaching them in conducting effective performance tests.
 
Minimum Requirements/Key Responsibilities:
 
§ Degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent degree.
§ 7+ years experience leading the planning and implementation of performance tests across an enterprise or division of a large enterprise.
§ 5+ years experience with SAP implementation of modules - SRM, CRM, OTC, Finance, AP, ISCP, DP, BW sspecialized experience in performance testing, including design and execution, for n-tiered and EAI application development and frameworks.
§ Detailed knowledge of one or more technical areas and the applications and processes that support them.
§ Specialized expertise in implementing design for sound performance guidelines and providing technical advice and counsel to application and technology development teams regarding performance.
§ Experience with HP Interactive Test Tools.
§ Understanding of technology and its practical application to performance testing of complex systems.
§ Acts in a partnering role to development and to peers in the ETC.
§ Excellent interpersonal, client, and communication skills. Builds good working relationships with projects, peers, staff, etc. Ability to work with diverse groups across locations. Ability to get things done through others. Builds trust. Has integrity.
