Role - CMDB Analyst
Term - Fulltime/Contract

Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Analyst

The CMDB Analyst is responsible for assisting with the managing of the CMDB and its associated CIs in alignment with strategic company objectives. As a member of the Workforce Solutions Service Management team, this person is primarily responsible for working with the Global ITSM organization and technology teams on configuring and maintaining CMDB population and reconciliation processes for the Workforce Solutions business unit.  

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; specialized training; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow components such as Configuration, Change
  • Experience implementing and managing CMDB solutions in ServiceNow.
  • Experience in asset and configuration item identification, baseline definition, relationship mapping, CMDB administration and IT acquisition processes
  • Strong understanding of ITSM processes based on ITIL v3.
  • Excellent writing skills for generating clear, concise notes and documentation.
  • Strong analytical capabilities coupled with business acumen needed to proactively solve problems facing the organization.
  • Ability to work independently, with supervision, on a project of varying complexity.
  • ITIL v3 Foundations or above certified
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization
  • Use organizational skills to determine prioritization and appropriate multitasking
  • Focus on scope, tone, and quality of processes and their respective documentation, as well as the associated goals, priorities, deadlines, and weaknesses
  • Perform necessary and timely follow-up, escalating appropriately if necessary
