Job Summary:Seeking an exceptional Network Security Engineer. Successful candidates will be highly proficient in core networking concepts and experienced with high-density datacenter networking topologies, configuration, security and traffic management.  This position focuses on network security and firewall security policy reviews and remediation. So candidates must have current experience on ACLs and Firewall Rules.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform network security audits, gap analysis, update processes and implement risk remediation to ensure compliance.
  • Automate processes for continuous compliance and keep documentation up to date.
  • Design and implement highly-scalable and robust perimeter security solutions 
  • In collaboration with process owners, process managers and IT owners, define and maintain best practice network security policy, standards and processes.
  • Deploy and manage access-list and firewall policies for high-throughput environments
  • Identify and develop tools for auditing/identifying security risks and create repeatable processes for secure network deployments.
  • Execute work programs to test operational effectiveness of key controls using variety of approaches, including sampling, corroboration, observation, performance, etc.
  • Communicate to the process owners control deficiencies and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Identify, evaluate, document and monitor the remediation of control deficiencies, with an emphasis on assisting process and IT owners to remediate control deficiencies.
  • Summarize test results at the conclusion of testing.
  • Assist management with meeting coordination, follow-up, presentations and documentation.
  • Work with partner teams to remediate deficiencies identified
  • Assist with PCI DSS quarterly control certification survey of process owners and process managers throughout the organization.
  • Exercise mature business judgment and help create a team environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of internal control concepts, broad knowledge of network access control methodologies and experience in applying them in various business areas/functions.
  • Experience working with internal and external auditors and in one or more of these areas; internet security, auditing, control assessment, PCI DSS, IS/IT auditing, IS/IT policy development, risk assessments.
  • Knowledge of networking and network security practices and technologies a must, including a firm understanding or IP addressing and sub-netting.
  • Must be proactive with proven ability to execute on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Results oriented: ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization and within other geographies in order to overcome obstacles and accomplish all necessary tasks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Automation and scripting skills (Perl, Python) for security configuration management and monitoring is a plus.
  • Must have current experience on ACLs and Firewall rules.
