*    Define storage and operational policies and procedures
*    Serve as technical and project management leadership for projects
*    Propose, design, test, and implement strategic IT system solutions
*    Identify technology products consistent with roadmaps set by architects
*    Evaluate products (with vendors, product integration)
*    Develop integration and implementation strategies
*    Transition and activate software packages and hardware into the production enterprise computing environment
*    Provide and manage documentation of configurations, maintenance plans, and project updates
*    Provide advanced support for incident resolution for technical problems involving hardware and applications
*    Initiate, develop, and drive the adoption of product and process improvements
*    Maintain and extend strong relationships across product management, product development, and the IT team
*    Transfer knowledge, train, and coach others in area of expertise
*    Determine needs, requirements, and system specifications by conferring with users (e.g., business units)
*    Analyze workflow, access, information, and security requirements
*    Maintain system security through the development, monitoring, control, and evaluation of system access processes
*    Design and run system load/stress tests
*    Establish and test disaster recovery policies and procedures
*    Works on design and integration for complex, multi-platform storage, and for automated troubleshooting tools
*    Provides input on multi-year development roadmaps, task definition, assignment, and scheduling
*    Provides input on engineer performance
*    Mentors team members
*    Is recognized as a technical leader internally and externally
*    Writes proposals or papers
*    Works closely with upper management
*    Developing chapter members. Key contributor in ensuring the development of the skill sets and competencies of the storage chapter members
*    Establishing principles and standards.  Provides input into the general direction and strategy for the team, and enforcing standards where they must exist
Key Requirements
*    Expert knowledge in storage systems (NetApp, Hitachi, Eternus)
*    Demonstrated strong leadership in architecting and designing solutions
*    Demonstrated experience in implementing complex solutions
*    Demonstrated experience at scale
*    Cloud storage experience with Google Cloud and AWS highly preferred
