Job Description: 

Role and Responsibilities:

Medical Management Solution Lead provides implementation, optimization, verification, and issue resolution services for Payers. Candidates must have a solid understanding of the healthcare industry. Must be able to understand the needs of the business and align those needs to technical capabilities. Must know and understand the business objects and data that make up the medical management (CM\DM\UM) processes for a Payer. They should also be familiar with the technology involved in implementing a membership solution for a Payer including  EDI, Web Services, and digital applications. The candidate should be familiar with the TriZetto Medical Management Applications.
 
Responsibilities:
• Design and validate the flow of data for the solution
• Present solutions to business leaders
• Complete deliverable templates on time
• Drive the implementation of the solution across technical and business areas
• Assist with operational troubleshooting to expedite involvement from SMEs
• Perform analysis of implemented solutions for efficiency and accuracy
• Provide regular status for the solutions they are designing, implementing, operating and/or analyzing

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and databases.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Experience working with Facets Membership

Desired Skills:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in implementing or operating a medical management solution for a Payer. Minimum five years of experience in the health care/health insurance industry. Experience with technical architecture is a plus.
  • Ability to create and execute SQL queries for relational DB.
  • Ability to parse and validate data files such as EDI
  • Familiarity with web service validation tools such as SoapUI.
