  • SQL Server (2008 R2 onwards)
  • SSIS
  • SSRS
  • .NET (Visual Studio 2010 onwards)
  • WCF(good to have)
  • Retail Domain
  • Any Point Of Sale system knowledge(good to have) 
Desired Skills: _Experience of Retail POS
Job Roles / Responsibilities:      
  • Design and develop interfaces using Microsoft SQL Server Integration services (SSIS).
  • Design and develop reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting services (SSRS).
  • Highly proficient in the use of T-SQL for developing complex Stored Procedures, Triggers, Tables, User Defined Functions, Relational Database models and Data integrity, SQL joins, Performance tuning, and Query Optimization using SQL Server (2008R2 onwards).
  • Prepare Logical design documents by detailing current and future states of systems that can fulfill the application and system change requirements.
  • Reverse engineer Retail ERP application modules and enable API based integration.
  • Prepare and execute the deployment/cutover plans for taking the system/changes to Production and monitor production systems in order to ensure a smooth transition
  • Coordinate with the offshore team members for development activities, knowledge sharing, and change documentation
