Job Description: 
 
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITIES
Staff hired to carry out the case management service functions are expected to be qualified. Special qualifications include:
  • Ability to relate to clients
  • Skill in casework techniques, i.e. interviewing, listening, assessing, planning, developing resources, and implementing plans
  • Courteous, skilled, and effective verbal and written communication
  • Knowledge of community resources, medical terminology and service implications of medical diagnoses
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of program eligibility requirements and ability to apply them in specific situations.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to learn and perform tasks quickly and accurately from verbal and written instructions.
  • Self-directed and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assigned work.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret information.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, on occasions.
  • Ability to present a positive and professional image to clients, staff, and community through appropriate dress.
  • Prior experience in HICS ( Healthcare Insurance Case Studies) will be an added advantage
