Responsibilities
• Provide subject matter expertise, act as technical product advocate, design, develop and implement of ServiceNow Application and related Infrastructure.
• Knowledge on ServiceNow Infra components and Analytical skill on troubleshooting Performance related issues
• Basic working knowledge of UNIX  and web servers (Apache / Tomcat)
• Understand performance testing and should be able to provide requirement to create Performance load testing scripts
• Work with DBA and UNIX team to improve performance of the platform
• Provide operational support for all Non-PROD instances • Understanding and working knowledge on tools provided by ServiceNow for identifying and addressing performance related issues
• Work Closely with DEV, QA and APS Support teams to manage Non-PROD instances.
• Mentors and coaches other team members, facilitates individual team member development of technical, and industry skills
• Coordinate / perform Application, DB, security and Infra patches
 
Experience
 
• Minimum of 7 years overall experience in Admin support and Performance Management of ITSM platforms; At least 4 years of experience with ServiceNow.
• Experience in managing and supporting inhouse hosted instance (non-cloud)
• Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow platform and infrastructure components
• Knowledge on Oracle DB, UNIX and WebServers (Apache / Tomcat)
• Practical experience with troubleshooting performance issues and working knowledge of tools provided by ServiceNow to troubleshoot performance related issues
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to describe technical solutions in the terms of the business
Certifications Preferred:
Service Now Implementation Specialist, ServiceNow Certified Admin
