Position: SAP BPC/BW Consultant
Location: Location: Chicago, IL
Mission Critical Competencies
• Proficient with SAP TPM / SEM BPS / BW integration points
• Proficient at troubleshooting/debugging both TPM and Financial Planning applications within the BPC & BW areas
• Strong experience with ABAP and Objected Oriented development
• Deep technical “under the hood” knowledge of SAP BW and BPC
• Proficient with the following software versions: SAP CRM 7.0, BI 7.0, BPC 10.0
• Deep hands-on experience in the design, configuration and delivery of SAP BW and BPC solutions
• Strong working knowledge of trade promotion management and/or financial planning and budgeting business processes
• Creates collaborative relationships with customers/business partners, Mars IS service teams and business partnership peers
• Strong customer service skills and ability to relate to and discuss topics and issues from a business and technical perspective
• Ability to stand alone and to appropriately challenge customers and peers
• Capability to communicate and build relationships within Mars IS and the business.
Key Functional Skills/Knowledge
• Deep experience of working in development and support of complex SAP BW and BPC business software solutions
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on SAP BPC and BW configuration and development obtained through project implementation work, support and/or development experiences
• Strong working knowledge of Financial Planning & Budgeting processes
• Strong working knowledge of Trade Promotion Management processes and the related workstreams including Finance, Demand Planning, Sales and Marketing.
• Excellent knowledge of the system and process integration touch points within the SAP TPM landscape
• SAP CRM TPM knowledge is highly desirable
• Ability to translate business needs and opportunities into system or process solutions within SAP BPC and SAP BW
• Perspective and judgement in making decisions, i.e. the ability to evaluate impacts and trade-offs when recommending proposed solutions to the business or introducing technical changes to SAP
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to operate in an environment with multiple projects, initiatives and priorities and across multiple Mars segments
• Ability to effectively work with both onshore and offshore contractors
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
