Healthcare Recruiters are human resource practitioners who specialize in the recruitment facet of human resources. They specialize in the fulfillment of vacancies related to the healthcare industry. This includes vacancies related to medical practitioners, doctors, nurses, medical receptionists, and medical interpreters. Healthcare Recruiters are responsible for posting job advertisements, screening applicants, interviewing candidates, setting interview schedules with hiring managers, and, in some cases, providing the job offer to qualified candidates. They should have a solid background in healthcare. They must be familiar with the skills, experiences, and levels of expertise needed for the different vacancies.
Manage applicant tracking system and develop recruitment reports.
Manage other recruiters in selection of LPN, graduate nurse positions and support positions as needed.
Manage the on-boarding process and collect all new hire paperwork and enter data into an HRIS PeopleSoft database.
Recruit RN's and LPN's via job fairs, referrals, internet, cold calling, and direct mailings.
Source candidates by cold calling and networking using LinkedIn and other social media..
Staff nurses and CNA's on facility and homecare assignments on fix schedules and PRN.
Process new hires and ensure compliance with federal, state, DOH and JCAHO standards.
Plan and direct sales promotional projects using media such as facebook, direct mail, press, radio and television presentations.
Prescreen all RN/LPN and CNA applicants to determine if their skills and experience are a right fit for the locations patients.
Maintain relationships with all working nurses and techs to identify prospective healthcare professionals for specific employment opportunities.
Specialize in technical recruiting for medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, telecommunications - optics and photonics.
Develop new business and maintain mature accounts by establishing solid relationships with all levels of personnel in local all healthcare facilities.
Create online marketing projects including email campaign executions, tracking and measurement, search engine optimization and implementation of banner campaigns.
Provide emergency medical aid to inmates.
Utilize strong interpersonal communication skills to place qualify candidates and communicate with teammates and supervisors effectively.
Position require outstanding business knowledge, outstanding communication skills as well as superior customer service skills.
